TEHRAN -- Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in a statement Saturday warned the people against the conspiracies and threats by the United States.

The statement a copy of which has been cabled to IRNA said the United States has never stopped hatching schemes and plots against the great people of Iran and it has used every possible means to make Iran bow to its pressure.

The IRGC warned against any move by some to sow the seeds of discord among the people which he said could prompt the enemies' military action against Iran under the present sensitive circumstances.

The Americans want Iran to become a stooge to the United States but the Islamic Republic of Iran would continue to stand fast against the U.S. bullying tactics.

The IRGC referred to the massive anti-U.S. rallies in Iranian major cities and, in particular in Tehran on Friday and thanked the Iranian people for having a firm resolve to be always in the scene of the revolution.
